Major Project Unit - First Read Through of Roadman and Initial Editing Ideas For It

I have looked over the script and storyboard of 'Roadman'. The reason for this is to understand what the film is about, and gain ideas of what I want to do with the film and specific scenes within it in the sense of how I want it to be paced, the types of cuts I think would be suitable, who should the camera be focussing on as well as many other aspects that need to be considered also.

One of my main initial concerns is how am I going to cut the fighting scenes in the film. On the previous film I was working on 'Inoculum' there were fight scenes involved, but my plan for that was to show some of the fighting, while having some parts of it blacked out to add a sense of danger. This would be suitable for the first fighting scene in 'Roadman' as it is a similar type of fighting situation as they both are more assaults on a person and is out of the blue and unexpected rather than an obvious fighting situation. Or if not blacked out having it blurred could have a similar affect.

Apart from this one aspect of the film, I have a clear initial idea for how I will edit other scenes. I know how I am going to pace certain scenes as well but I want to research editing styles and ideas more to ensure that its suitable for the scene.
