Digital News Production (Facebook page)

   I have created a Facebook page for 'Kent Nature News'. Our group decided to create one so that the News production came across more professional. I had the logo as the profile picture and one of my photos as the cover photo. My group and I all invited our friends to like the page and currently there are 38 likes for it. But still it has only been live for a day, so this number might grow.

Digital News Production (Website)

   For the news programme, I have created a main website for it. This is not a necessity to have but our group felt that it would be good to include one to make the news channel appear more professional. I made the website on wix.com a site where you can create a website for free. I designed the website so it would be fitting and suitable for the theme of the news production, so theres lots of green natural colours and images too. The images are all my own from when I did photography at school and college, so there is no copyright or royalty issues. The text on the page is a simple introduction to what the news production is about, and there is also icons that link it too the Facebook page, google+ profile page and also the youtube channel I made, as well as the twitter page which was created by another member in my group. We may put the video on this page but we are unsure yet as it may not blend well into the page.
