As well as using a song by Moby I will be using two other music tracks, These music tracks will be provided by Kevin Macleod. Kevin Macleod has a website where he has created loads of royalty free songs for students and independent film makers to use. All I have to do for it to be okay for me to use his music is mention him in my credits. I am using his tracks 'March of the Mind' and also 'Light Thought var 4'.
I am using 'Light Thought var 4' for the beginning part of my film where my main character is getting dressed, I have decided to use this track for these scenes because it is a light mellow songs that sets the mood to what I want it to be. I am trying to create a sense of love to match the theme and make the audience believe that the main character is in a relationship with the girl you see in the photograph or that he has a healthy form of love towards her.
I am using the track 'March of the Mind' for when the audience first sees the photographs on the walls. I have decided to do this is to reiterate what they are witnessing on the screen, to add the emotion and what the audience is generally feeling watching these scenes.
