Fiction Adaption (Alex Boorman Workshop)

   We had a workshop with Alex Boorman, a cameraman with extensive work and knowledge within camera work. Our objective was to create three different scenes based round an emotion that had to last between 30-45 seconds and have at least 5 different shots used in it. For this I was in a group with three other people working on the Sony EX camera. What we decided to do was to link all of these scenes together to create one piece of work. We based it all round one situation which was someone giving out gum in a room to a group of people. I found this workshop useful as it was a good refresh in how to use the Sony EX cameras, which is very helpful sit is the camera I am using in my fiction adaptation, so refreshing myself with the basics is very useful and helpful positively to my filming outcome. Film Adaption (Initial Idea 18)

   After the deadline of my advert for the role in my film of the sexual predator, I have 3 applications in total. But I am choosing only 2 of them to give interviews too who are David Wayman and David Sandham. I decided not to use the other actor as I did not feel he fell into the age range I was looking for to play the role. But both the other two actors are suitable for the role I am looking for. Will post more after the auditions.

Fiction Adaption (Initial Idea 17)

   So at the date the application date ended on my advert for my film role 'The Girl/Victim', I had 8 applicants for the role. After thoroughly looking at each of these roles, I have decided on 3 applicants that I will be giving interviews to who are Elodie Foray, Scarlett Marshall and Laura Gallop. These 3 fit the visual idea of what she could look like as well as fitting in personality wise. By fitting in personality wise I mean that they have evidence of pulling off the performance I am looking for either it be them mentioning characters in other films that are similar to the performance that I am looking for, or that they have done a production in the past which is similar to the character I am advertising. I will write more after I have conducted these interviews.
