I have completed the filming for my trailer and have come across a fair few problems. For example I have had difficulty with getting rid of the grain/visual noise in some of my footage, I have also had trouble with the brightness in my footage whether it be too bright or too dark as well as some of my footage going missing.
Some of my footage has a lot of grain and visual noise in it, so to counter act this I have edited these pieces of footage by making it either darker or increasing the darkness with the shadowing areas and increasing the brightness with the other parts. I have also used filters on some of the clips which was more successful in removing the grain.
Some of my footage has turned out either too dark or too bright. I want my footage to be more crisp and clear so I had to correct a the pieces of footage that were not. This was easy to correct as I can simply adjust the brightness in Final Cut Pro to either brighten or darken the footage to what I need it to be. But at the same time this can also create some visual noise and grain in the background which I have done my best to correct.
Sadly, while transferring my video clips across I missed some of them and they are gone with no way of getting them back as the memory card was wiped of all the footage that was on it. I have worked around this. I am not the most organised person but I should be organised and prepared for a project such as this, but I have learn't now that I need to be more organised with my work so errors such as this will not occur again.
Another problem I have had to overcome is how I have filmed the footage. I have used cameras before but I am not an expert with them so some of my footage turned out not the way I envisioned it. But luckily I have filmed each clip at least 3 times so I have a selection of which clips I want to use.
