While planning what the visual style of the news production should be, I was thinking about what news productions are similar to what my group is trying to create. I have struggled to find news productions that focus on nature on television, but online theres a channel on Youtube called 'Earth Touch'. Earth Touch is a news channel that covers stories about animals around the world, the latest discoveries about animals, crime involving animals (poaching, abuse etc.). When looking at their website, I focused on the logo design, the colours they have used and the layout of the website. Their logo is of a circle, made out of ripples fading from green to blue. The reason they have created it to look like this is as it resembles the shape of the earth, but the ripples makes it appear more natural, which is an indication to what the news production is about.
Even though this is news on an international scale, I can still observe what the visual design of the production is and take notes to what I hope my news production will look like.
