'The Journey' Ideas/Thoughts 6
With the Sound Design project, I have half of my recording has been completed. I have payed a lot of attention with the detail of the sound to make it as believable as possible. For example, I've taken note on the shoes the lady is wearin in the photograph, which are chunky black shoes. So for the sound of her footsteps I have recorded footsteps with someone wearing chunky shoes. For the sounds of her walking outside, I have recorded someone walking with these shoes on the pavement, I have also recorded the sound of her walking in the shop on tile flooring, which you would find in most local corner shops. I have done this as It would not be believable if you could hear the sound of footsteps on a wooden floor when you can see pavement. It would not sound right or believable for the audience, which will not get them immersed into the story.
