Today, our group have met up to discuss what we are going to do about our news production. Basically planning what we are aiming to achieve with our production, setting dates and contacting those who we would like to interview for our stories.
The first action we took was to contact Hugh Lowe Farms, the main subject of our soft news piece. We have called them up to discuss the possibility of doing the story on them and their farm. We have called them up but had to leave a message as their general manager was not available to speak to. We are also going to send an email to him to double the chances of getting a reply back sooner than if we just leave a phone message.
