'The Journey' Ideas/Thoughts 9

I've been researching and learning about the 180 degree rule and how to use it when creating a film. The 180 degree rule is a guideline that film makers should follow when filming a scene between two people. The rule basically states that when you are filming two people, you can not cross over to the other side. For example, if you are filming two people, person 1 is on the left and person 2 is on the right, you cannot cross over to the other side; This also counts for when you are filming over the shoulder shots too. Only in certain situations you are allowed to cross this line, but even these can be questionable decisions.
I am going to be looking at where I am going to position my shots more accurately now learning about this rule. Using this rule will make my shots seen more natural and flow well.
Also my original location for filming cannot be used. I tried to contact the owner of the building but as the building is for sale I had to contact the estate agents to see if I could film there. They said they would not allow me to film there because it could affect the sale of the property, which it would not have as I would have only been there for a couple hours. Even though I am disappointed by this I have a couple other locations I had in mind for filming which I will be looking at in the next couple of days.
