Major Pre-Production: Choice of Fonts

I have been looking into the style and design of the film, as we haven't been able to find a suitable artist to create art work for us, we are going to create some ourselves. This was not ideal for us as it was not our original plan, we were going to commission an artist but the ones I have spoken to say they wouldn't have enough time or would like to be paid with a price that is way out of our budget. This may change in the near future but for now we will create some art that is suitable for our film.

The first step I have taken is looking for a suitable font for the production, it has to be readable and a simple style to relate the film. One of the other factors I have looked into is into decaying fonts, so it appears as it has dissolved partially or that parts have broken away off of it. The reason I looked for a font such as this is as it will relate to the story of the film, the illness Abigail has. Bellow are a few examples of what fonts I am currently looking at, it is likely that one of these fonts will be the one I choose for the book.
