Fiction Adaption (Filming 1)

The first filming that I did was at my parents house in Grove Green. I felt this was a good place to film as I know the owners, and that also because I know the house I know more of what I can film within it and what kind of shots I can get. The scenes I shot here were the shots of the main female character in her room and planning the murder of the sexual assaulter. I used a room in my house that was minimalistic in decor and design for her bedroom, as I felt that other rooms in the house would not be suitable as the set for her bedroom because they were either decorated differently to what I had planned or were 'too' much decorated (i.e. bright colours, loads of paintings).
The filming was just me and the actress Elodie. There was only me and her with no extra crew because I knew that I did not need any extra help with my shoot. I did not need much audio as I was going to record it afterwards and add it in. I asked Elodie to wear casual blandish clothing. I decided to do this instead of my original plan of buying her particular clothes from ASOS Marketplace, Urban Outfitters etc. due to lack of time and lack of funds, but even so the clothes she wore were just as good for the role.
The filming went very well and after editing the shots will be what I imagined and planned them to be. The may not be perfect but they will be up to the standard and quality I was hoping for.
