I have decided to include the use of a Polaroid camera into my film. The use of the camera will be for the main character to use to take photographs of her victims with, and create a collage/portfolio of. This collage/portfolio will be the physical representation of the cenotaph which is mentioned in the poem. I have decided to use a Polaroid camera instead of a modern digital camera because with digital cameras the image is either on the camera screen or the screen of a computer before it is developed/printed. While with a Polaroid camera, you get the image instantly. The photograph is a physical object which to me makes it seem more personal, which adds to the effect of how her killing people is a personal matter, a vendetta to those who have committed these sexual acts to her and people like her. Also when you take a picture with a digital camera, usually people have it on their computer or laptop, which could make them easier to find. So the use of a Polaroid camera could also be used to help her cover her tracks.
The use of a Polaroid camera will also give off a vintage feel which adds to her character and vaguely relates to original theme of the poem as well as highlighting her characteristics (which I have an idea on what it will be like but not 100% certain yet).
