Our group have decided that for the Nightingale news piece, we need to have an interview or something happening there for it to be a live news piece. We have already tried to organise an interview with Land Securities with no success, so instead of conducting an interview with them we are going to try and get an interview with a representative of RSPB Medway. We have decided to get an interview with them as they have and interest in this matter as they are a charity focusing on the well-being of birds. They have already had an input on the matter through their website but they may be willing to conduct an interview on their opinion of the councils decision. We have sent them an email and are waiting for their reply. (Email bellow).
Hello, My name is Charlie Ansell and I am currently a student studying Television Production at Maidstone Studios. We are currently producing a news story on the planned building on the designated Nightingale site in Lodge Hill.
