Fiction Adaption (Initial Idea 3)

I have been looking into the poem more, mainly at cenotaphs. Initially I did not know what a cenotaph was when reading the poem, but after researching I found out that it is a monument created for the purpose of memorial of a mass death. These could be built for non war tragedies such as the terrorist 7/7 attacks in London or soldiers lost in war such as the war memorials you see poppy wraiths on. The poem initial meaning to the building of cenotaphs is for the memorial of those lost in World War 1, but the meaning can be changed for the purpose of my film adaption. Referring back to my innocence lost idea I have spoken about previously, the cenotaph could be a visual metaphor to that idea, or if I decide to look further into the sexual connotations I could use the cenotaph as a more darker themed meaning. But overall a cenotaphs purpose is remembrance, remembrance for loss. I am going to look more into the idea of loss as it seems like an idea with broader possibilities to what the meaning could be. I am also going to look into the idea of anger as loss and anger are highly linked feelings, anger for the reason of loss or the anger some might feel while fighting in wars or fighting in general.
