Commisions (Filming 3)

Our group was debating on the day of filming whether to keep the plush Eeyore toy in the background. I felt that the toy would add to the homey feel of the shot, as well as adding character to the shot and possibly showing the audience a bit of Louise's personality. The other members of my group were unsure as they believed it would be a distraction. In the end we decided as a group to keep it in and it turned out to be a good decision. We can look at using similar techniques for the other interviews, to as character to the shot which will highlight the surroundings and makes it look more interesting. For example, if we had a plain whit wall as a background it would be dull and boring, yet if we decided to have the interviewee at a table with a shot of more of the room and possibly plants or relevant posters in the background, it would make the shot more interesting to view. We have to make sure whatever we use has to be relevant to the subject of the interview and suitable for the topics and subject matter that will be discussed in the interview.
