'The Journey' Ideas/Thoughts 1

   For our new project 'The Journey' we have been given a 3 page script, pre written for us so we can film it in the role of a director. Of course I'll have to be a camera man and editor as well, but the prime purpose of this project is to learn how to be a director by looking at a script we haven't written and putting it onto a screen in whatever way we see fit. 

   But, each of us had to select a theme for our film to be based on. The script will have to be filmed and interpreted to be classed as a film in this genre. I chose the theme of love, I decided to choose love because of two reasons. The first being that I like things to be different, I personally think it would be fun to see how I can make this story fit into a theme which frankly doesn't seem to be the theme of the story. And secondly I want to push myself. In the last project I didn't put all my effort into it, mainly with the script writing and organising myself. So giving myself more of a challenge should help me step up to my potential.
